David is a pervasive gaming guru who combines on his mad coding skills with his creative and artistic abilities to produce compelling game experiences. David is also the founder of TorGame, an organization in Toronto dedicated to developing innovative games that celebrate public space and build community. TorGame's first game, Waking City, was a smash hit that garnered coverage in all the major national papers, radio, and TV. David has also worked at Microsoft Research, at the Human Media Lab at Queen's University, Canada and as an ICT trainer in rural Nigeria. David has an MSc in human-computer interaction from the University of Toronto, Canada.

Kate Raynes-Goldie

Kate is a social web and online community expert with over a decade of internet experience. She has been involved in community building in both online and offline contexts with organisations such as TakingITGlobal and Campus Co-Operative Residences. Kate's practical work draws on her five years of internet and online community research, which she has shared conferences such as SXSW and the Association of Internet Researchers and in publications including the Globe and Mail, First Monday and the MacArthur Foundation series on digital media and youth. Kate has a degree in Semiotics from the University of Toronto, Canada and is a graduate of Canadian Film Centre's Media Lab. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Internet Studies programme at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia.

Luke Walker
Luke is a youth engagement and e-education expert who has presented at education-related conferences around North America and throughout the world. Previously, Luke was an educator and instructional designer at the Acadia Institute for Teaching and Technology. Currently, Luke is managing the development of an educational game about the orange revolution at TakingITGlobal, where he is Director of Education Programs.

Eddie Farrell
Eddie is a mixed media wonderkind who brings a background in fine arts, graphic design, and multimedia technology to the team. A member of the digital media guild, Eddie worked on the trailer for TorGame's Waking City, along with producing the video blogs over the course of the game. An avid video gamer, Eddie boasts he's practically owned every console created at one time or another (including the dreaded Virtual Boy and the doomed Jaguar). Eddie has a fine arts certificate from Sheridan College, Canada.
